Dear Sisters,
This International Women’s Day, the Provincial Women’s Board Northern Province celebrates the strength, resilience, and sacred worth of every woman. We honor the women who nurture families, lead communities, carry wisdom, and hold faith even in difficult seasons.
As we celebrate, we also acknowledge that many women continue to face violence, silence, and injustice in their homes and communities. Our celebration must therefore also be a commitment to protect dignity, to speak against harm, and to create spaces where women and girls can live free from fear.
May this day remind us that every woman deserves safety, respect, and the opportunity to flourish. Together, let us uplift one another, stand against gender-based violence, and build communities where every woman’s voice and life are valued.

Community Involvement
The Provincial Women’s Board empowers women to claim themselves as a vital part of ministry in the life of the church. Its purpose is to encourage and facilitate the organization and strengthening of women’s groups throughout the province, to cooperate on matters of mutual interest with organizations for women’s ministries in other provinces of the Moravian Church, to represent the women of the Northern Province in denominational and interdenominational activities, and to encourage all women to participate in programs of local congregations and the church at large.
